Trout University Chancellor Steve publishes ebook!

Trout University Chancellor Steve publishes ebook!
We at the Trout University TroutU are excited by Chancellor Steve's first publication in a series of ebooks. The ebook entittled "Small Stream Trout Fishing" is available in the Kindle version at Amazon Kindle for the very affordable price of $3.99. Steve said that he wants to keep the price affordable so that everyone can learn to enjoy trout fishing in the small mountain streams such as are found in The Great Smoky Mountains Park.

Steve is planning a CyberGuide series in conjunction with the teaching and classes held at the University. His plans include video guides of numerous fishing trips. Each CyberGuide video will include trail maps, techniques, specific information about the trout population, how to make your approach, what flies or baits that will work on that particular stream, and much, much more. Be sure to check back at TroutU for details about the release of the PDF version of "Small Stream Trout Fishing" as well as others in the CyberGuide series.

Tea Party

I just returned from protesting at the Sweet Tea Party held in Charlotte.  It was fun to protest the high taxes, but how, however back to work at http://www.troutu.com/

Mongo Bat Tees

Yes, it is now rumored that there will be Mongo Bat tees complete with a new Mongo Bat logo should the Mongo Bat be resurrected out of the Wal Mart ashes bin.

Mongo bat is where it is at, bring back the bat!

Yes, we have a lead on the actual tooling and it may be possible to start production again on the Mongo bats.  We may bring back the bat in response to the popular demand.  Keep checking back for news on this exciting development.  Take a look at this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyipKfn05Uc

Now, I am up to 30 hours per week

I have been working on the trout web site http://www.troutu.com/ for several months now.  My day goes like this; I read the news and the email, completing that while I have my cappo.  Then I work on the web site until about 4:00 in the afternoon, putting in about 6 hours a day.  I must be missing something, but I am having a lot of fun!

Children's Promotional CDs

I have contacted Angela Savage in Chic Fil A marketing department, and left a message.  I will try some other promotional avenues if this does not develop.  Here I am again trying to be a salesman!

Mongo Bat Demise!

The quotation for the mfg. of the Mongo Bat came in at about $9.00 ea. which was prohibitive from a marketing perspective.  We could look at a local vendor, but that will be shelved for now.

Mongo Bat Progress

Stephen created a detailed drawing of the last Mongo Bat in existance.  I sent it out for a quote on the tooling as well as the piece price.  Tom is looking at web sites, attempting  to size the potential market.  Next. we will do a business case to determine if we have a viable project.
PS We received a request from a person interested in purchasing a MB!

Mongo Bat Update

Mattel gave me an update which was that they simply have no record of the bat; and this was after an exhaustive search of their closets.  I might just ask some off shore sourcing company to give me a quote on manufacturing it.
